In his novel, An Absent Mind, Eric Rill skillfully explores the impact Alzheimers disease has on the family patriarch, Saul Reimer.
Mr. Rill writes in the first person, giving voice to the thoughts and feelings of Saul, his family and his doctor. It’s a poignant experience, that is sometimes sad, sometimes funny and often frustrating.
